Just got the new silicone mold for my Pipboy 2000 prop. I love it! The details came out looking great and once I get the the other small parts done I'll throw pictures on here. We have a few blank kits available at Misery Productions that you can finish yourself.
In about a month we'll have a couple of finished copies but until then enjoy the silicone mold pictures.

Ghostbusters Proton Pack, 7 days...
UPDATE:
I had a party Friday outside and I finished my proton pack just in time. It was soo damn cold so I'm glad I wore a couple layers under my jump suit. I didn't get the gun finished but I've got a week until another party so I'll put some more work into it. And I'll be dying my jumpsuit and elbow pads.
And sadly, my camera died right before the party so I only have a couple of photos but as I redo my pack I'll definitely post more.
Thanks for checking in friends. There's only 5 days until my Halloween party now.
Every year I have a party and this year, like most I am low on funds and decided way too late what I'm going to be. Usually that wouldn't be a problem but this year I'm making a Ghostbuster costume and proton pack, which is extremely complicated to do in less than 14 days. And I'm only using items I've found around my house.
I've also had projects to finish before Halloween and a commision that needs to be done in a week, so I'm definitely busy.
Technically this has all been done over three long nights but I got the idea 9 days ago and did very little about it until now. So.... here is what I have so far.
I'll keep this post updated with new pictures as soon as I've got more done. And I'm also working on my jumpsuit too so I'll get in some pics of that too.
And just wanted to mention this fun fact... even though I only have 2 followers for some reason(thanks guys), I'm damn close to 11,000 views! Ain't it cool? And on that note I'm saying goodnight!

Halloween is closing in...
Once again. It's my favorite time of year. The weather is getting colder and I'm starting to get ready for the Halloween season. I've bought new gallons of black latex and paint among other things.
But besides ordering materials and casting a ton of masks, it's time to finish sculptures and start my projects for the next year. I have a few in line and a million design sketches, so this won't be a long post but I do want to give you guys and gals preview of what is to come.
I have to resculpt a few small things and do skin texture, but this folks is the...
I'm working hard to get this done before Haloween, but at the latest it will be available at
Misery Productions in November.

Pretty Lady limited series has come to an end.
It always seemed so far away, but now that this company has been around for a few years and the Pretty Lady is now sold out. It was our top selling mask and I'll definitely be sad to not make it anymore. I was going to destroy it but for now I might just leave in the corner of my workshop for sentiment. Just for those of you who haven't seen the mask or didn't get a chance to order your own, I've posted a few pictures here.
I hope that each and every one of our customers loved wearing your Leatherface mask as much as I loved making them.

Summer conventions & new products!
Coming up are a couple horror conventions with a huge list of guests and vendors. I've been to many before and they are always a ton of fun. Luckily, this year I'll be renting a vendor for the first time at a few conventions. It's been a hectic couple of months; updating business cards and bought a new banner. I've also created a website, http://www.wix.com/miserymasks/miseryproductions.
Here is our new banner.
The best news so far, I'll be releasing at least two new masks for the convention and so far it's going well but I'm quickly running out of time.
Below is some quick concept art of our upcoming projects.
I'm just about to finish the details of newest mask sculpture, with only skin texture and hair to go. Once I finish the details I'll be able to create my prototype.
For now, here is a mask I just finished for a small production company. It went from design to prototype within 15 days but I really liked how it turned out. I've also posted my original design.
